What We Capture

To register for and use our Service you must provide us with at least your full name, email address and a password and agree to our Terms and Conditions and this Privacy Policy. For business registrations this will also include the company name and the number of users, and we rely solely on you to obtain and provide appropriate consent, if needed, to collect personal information from your users.

We will also ask for additional payment information, including as necessary the personal and financial information (credit card information) required to process any transactions relating to the Service.

You may choose to provide additional information about yourself or your company including but not limited to your address, job title, profile picture, account description, company logo and industry information.

Any information you provide may be used to help us provide our Service to you, to verify your identity, to enforce or apply our Terms and Conditions, to protect the rights, property or safety of HR Assist or that of other Website and Service users. We may also use this information for internal research purposes, for promoting and marketing the website, to perform market research, plan future services, seek feedback and help make our website, products and services more useful to you and to keep you informed about other services that we may offer from time to time and for any other use that you authorise.

Credit Card Information

We do not retain any credit card numbers internally, instead we partner with a payment provider, Stipe (https://stripe.com/), who adhere to the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (“PCI-DSS”). The PCI-DSS is a standard managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, a joint effort of brands including Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information.

Consent

When you provide us with Personal Information, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only. If we ask for your Personal Information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.

Non-personally identifying information

Like most website operators, we collect non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Our purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how our visitors use our Website and Service. From time to time, we release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g. by publishing a report on usage trends of our Website.
